Marie’s extensive experience specialising in family law has demonstrated the power of negotiation and mediation as a first response to resolving difficult issues. KATHRYN MCLOUGHLIN | SOLICITOR

Kathryn was admitted to practice law in 2017, having graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a dual degree in Business and Law. Kathryn holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and takes an empathetic approach in assisting clients through the often emotional and difficult landscape of family law.

Kathryn is responsible for all Applications for Divorce, Family Dispute Resolution Conferences, Parenting, Child Protection, and Domestic Violence Applications. She is well rehearsed in assisting clients through the stages of these specialty areas of their family law, child protection and domestic violence matters and often appears in the Family and Federal Circuit Courts of Australia, Brisbane Magistrates Court, and various regional Childrens Courts.

ELIZABETH KATONA | SOLICITOR

Elizabeth was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2021. Elizabeth graduated from a dual degree in Psychology and Law (Honours) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2020 and holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Always calm and efficient in her approach, Elizabeth’s  inquisitiveness and ability to understand family law matters makes her dedicated and dependable to our clients.  She is highly compassionate and prides herself in her genuine client care.  Elizabeth derives satisfaction from bringing a sense of calm to the chaos and achieving practical results for our clients.

Elizabeth has a passion for community service and has over 5 years’ experience volunteering with Community Legal Services, serving key advocacy and advice roles at LawRight and Basic Rights Queensland.
